Who Are We?
SmartCents is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to teaching and improving financial literacy to the new generation. Started in 2025 SmartCents has grown and impacted the lives of about 100 students by teaching them valuable and essential financial knowledge. We were able to expand their knowledge on money management skills, also giving students the confidence and ability to make smart financial decisions. We have also reached students in 13 states and 7 countries.

Founder & President:
Tejas Velu
Tejas, a high school student from the Greater Seattle area, founded SmartCents to help kids develop essential money skills early. Passionate about financial literacy, he created the camp to make learning about earning, saving, spending, and investing fun and accessible.

Ayush Gupta
Hi, I'm Ayush Gupta, a high school student based in Cupertino with a strong interest in financial literacy, money management, and personal growth. I enjoy developing new skills and taking on challenges that help me improve.
